Approximately 80 animals live in unconstrained enclosures covering around 30,000 square metres. Visitors can observe various deer species, pygmy goats, donkeys and ponies. The animals may be fed with feed cubes. In addition, there is a children's playground in the zoo for romping around.

Water mats

Water mats

The water meadows north and south of Langenthal (the so-called "water mats" in German) are "eternal meadows", which are percolated several times a year with water from the Langete or water ditches. They were included in the "Inventory of Landscapes and Natural Monuments of National Importance" in 1983 and can be visited freely on foot.
